BAOBAB

Un precursor de las compilaciones de poesía sonora "3ViTre" fué Baobab, subtitulado "Informazioni fonetiche di poesia", era una revista de poesía sonora en casetes,  fundada por Adriano Spatola (1941-1988) en 1979 en Reggio Emilia, en la región de Emilia-Romagna, en el norte de Italia. Spatola había estado publicando revistas poéticas y plaquetas desde principios de 1960 en Bolonia y Milán. En 1968, con los hermanos Maurizio y Tiziano, fundó "Geiger", una editorial dedicada al Avantgarde escrito. Después de la muerte de Spatola, el editor de 3ViTre  Enzo Minarelli, se hizo cargo de la revista y publica nuevos trabajos hasta bien entrada la década de 1990.

A precursor of the 3ViTre sound poetry compilations (see previous post), Baobab, subtitled Informazioni fonetiche di poesia, was a sound poetry cassette magazine founded by Adriano Spatola (1941–1988) in 1979 in Reggio Emilia, in the Emilia-Romagna region in North Italy. Spatola had been publishing poetry magazines and chapbooks since the early 1960s in Bologna and Milan. In 1968, with brothers Maurizio and Tiziano, he founded Geiger, a publishing house dedicated to avantgarde writing (see here). After the death of Spatola, 3ViTre publisher Enzo Minarelli took over the magazine and published new issues well into the mid-1990s.
