Ulises Carrión (San Andrés Tuxtla, Veracruz, México 1941-Amsterdam, Países Bajos, 1989) fue un artista que se dedicó a buscar la manera de organizar un sistema de comunicación que funcionara de forma autónoma e independiente. Su intención era crear un sistema propio, enriquecerlo y modificarlo o inventar sistemas paralelos.
